Support the Lobby and the start of Mardi Gras. Following the official Mardi Gras launch at the Sydney Opera House, head up to the Stonewall Hotel at 175 Oxford St for a night of celebration. Join the Lobby in starting the Festival off with a bang. Over 3 floors. Drag shows at 11pm, 12midnight and 1am – downstairs. DJs all night
$5 donation at the door.

From 10.30 until 5.30 we’ll be there in the sun or the rain. Fill out our annual community survey, pick up our fact sheet or tattoos, buy a T-shirt or just stop by for a chat. Hang around for the launch of our groundbreaking report on gay and lesbian parenting. Look out for the pink ‘equal’ sign.

Royal Botanic Gardens, 4pm - midnight
The party with the picture perfect view says goodbye with not one but two events this year. Organisers First Fleet have been longtime supporters of the Lobby. Come and say thanks – with a bang!

Come and join us in the Parade for the biggest night of the Mardi Gras Festival. Walk with the GLRL – Fighting For Our Rights contingent. Be a boxer (no ear biting!) or hold a banner. E-mail or call the Lobby for more details.
No dancing. No choreography. Just fun.

The Metro Theatre, 6pm – 3am.
This not-to-be-missed party by Jo Jo and his fabulous team is once again generously supporting the Lobby and 2002 Gay Games. And the party continues from 3am at Gas & Boheme!
