Constitution

The GLRL Constitution outlines the objectives of the organisation, how the organisation will be run and ensures a proportionate representation of men and women on the Committee of Management.

The GLRL is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation run by a Committee of Management consisting of 15 volunteers who are members of the organisation.

You can apply to become a member of the Gay & Lesbian Rights Lobby.

Members:

  • Are eligible to attend and vote at our Annual General Meeting,
  • Get regular updates on our campaigns and events,
  • Are able to nominate themselves or others for the Committee of Management, and
  • Potentially help lead one of our volunteer working groups.

Membership is essential for funding our work and begins at $40 (or $15 concession) for individuals, $100 for gay and lesbian community groups and $300 for other organisations or businesses.
